Jonathan Blackwell has been a head coach with
the Tracy Cougars since its inaugural season in
2003. For the first two years, he was
the head coach of the
Junior Novice team
and the most recent season as head coach of the
Novice
squad.
He began coaching youth football when his kid
brother entered youth football playing with the Union City Colts,
a Bay
Area PAL (Police Athletic League) sponsored
youth contact football program. He coached
there for five years before moving.
Jonathan currently has two sons playing youth
football with two more coming into the program
over the next four years.
Mr. Blackwell owns an
enterprise software
company based in the area. |
